Facility for Machining :

TEC factory is well equipped with modern machining facilities including CNC and digital read out system. The machining capability for Plummer block housing is 1200 mm in Diameter and 1500 mm in height and up to a job weight of 3000 kg. TEC has extensive capacity for production in bulk quantity which ranges into 100,000 pieces per month in turning products. TEC manufactures fabricated items up to 8 tons with various testing for welds.

Choice of Materials :

TEC can manufacture bearing housings and other products as per Materials of International Grade, Standards and Customer’s Specifications like:

• Gray Cast Iron casting
• Cast steel casting
• Alloy Steel casting
• Ductile Iron casting (Spheroidal Graphite Iron)
• Stainless Steel
• Alloy Steel
• Forged Steel
• Phosphor Bronze
• Gunmetal. Etc.

Inspection & Testing Facilities :

TEC has well equipped Gauge Room which comprises of calibrated precision Instruments and Gauges necessary for inspection of all products manufactured. Material Test Report, Non Destructive Testing Report for soundness of casting, Weld Report, Dimensional Report, Painting Report etc is supplied as per customer’s requirement. While we have Quality Plan for every product, TEC also manufactures as per customer’s Quality Assurance Plan. Normally all products are supplied under self certificate for Quality and Guarantee, TEC also entertains pre-dispatch approval by customer’s inspection or third party agency inspection.

Finishing and Packing :

1) Bearing Housings are cleared off loose casting particles and cleaned before painting.
2) Two coats of Oxide Paint are applied as primer.
3) Two coasts of finish paint are applied of Synthetic Enamel Paint on outside and inside     unmachined surfaces.
4) Machined surfaces are protected with rust preventive paint / Lacquer / Oil.
5) Sleeve and all fully machined components are protected with rust preventive oil and packed in     plastic bags.
6) Normally light products are packed in paper box and Heavy products are packed in wooden     boxes. In case required the packing boxes are fumigated and supplied in sea-worthy packing at     actual cost.

Customized Development :

Design Office in TEC is equipped with competent CAD engineers and other facilities for developing customized products, variants / sp. features in Plummer Block Housing, preparing new designs and drawing.

TEC has developed numerous Plummer Block Housings for high temperature application. Such designs are provided with water cooling arrangement in the outer surface of casting which brings down the operating temperature of bearing to desired level. Plummer Block Housing is also customized to provide arrangement for fixing temperature sensor, vibration sensor and continuous lubrication system.

TEC is known among customers for its high grade technical capability with competent design engineering.

Store and Stocks :

TEC maintains stocks for major fast moving products in its Store. The Store is developed systematically to facilitate customer demand in minimum time lag with first-in-first-out system inbuilt in its functioning. The stock is well maintained to see the product shining without deterioration.
