Lock Nuts are used along with Adapter Sleeve to locate bearing in position. While it facilitates to dismount bearing when used on Withdrawal Sleeve. COSMO Lock Nuts are capable to be used directly on threaded shaft end to locate bearing or on tapered journals to dismount bearings.

Lock Nuts up to and including size KM40 (M200x3) have Metric V threads. While the larger nuts from size HML 41T have Trapezoidal where suffix ‘T’ indicates the same.

Lock Nuts are provided four or eight equally spaced slots around outer diameter to facilitate use of hook spanner.
